On January 7, 2024 the EurAsian Times reported that Yuriy Lutsenko, the former head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine said that Ukraine had 500,000 killed or seriously wounded. Further that Ukraine was suffering 30,000 KIA or wounded per month.

As indicated in the article the Russian Federation reports their KIA at roughly 50,000.

My point is not to promote one side or the other in the Ukraine or Gaza conflict. I was calling for a halt in fighting in both Ukraine and Gaza.
