Pharmakeia: A 50 Year Mystery.

“And the light of the lamp shall shine no more at all in thee; and the voice of the bridegroom and the bride shall be heard no more at all in thee: for thy merchants were the great men of the earth, for all nations, have been deceived by thy enchantments.” Revelation 18:23

Pharmakeia: A 50 Year Puzzle.

I first ran into that word: Pharmakeia 50 years ago, when I was a college student.

In the quote above, from the Douay-Rheims Bible, the Greek word: Pharmakeia is translated as “enchantments.” Other translations include: “sorcery,” “magic spells,” and “poisonous charms.”

All these translations come close to the real meaning. But, I believe the real understanding of “Pharmakeia” has only become possible since 2003.

You see, Pharmakeia, the root word from which we get Pharmacy is conceptually what we do when we use drugs.

When we first discovered “Pharmakeia” back in the 1960s it was during the height of the drug culture. A time when people like Timothy Leary were telling us we should “Turn on, tune in and drop out.”

By which he was telling us what a “wonderful” way drugs were to expand our consciousness. In fact, Leary is considered by those in the drug culture to be the “hero of consciousness.”

And there is no doubt that the “drug culture” was seeking a spiritual awakening with the use of Pharmakeia.

Unfortunately for Leary, this was a downward road that lead him from respected researcher at Harvard University, ultimately to jail. And with his decline, so too most of his followers would ultimately “drop out” of this chapter of “the drug culture” e.g. Pharmakeia.

But although related, Leary and his followers, did not appear to represent the full meaning that the Bible is referencing in Rev 18:23.

In that chapter, the Bible is speaking of a force that can bring down great nations. Devastating a nation as great as the “New Babylon.”

This is where that critical date of 2003 come in. 2003, you see was the year when the Government’s “Human Genome Project” was completed.

A 13-year project designed to map the literal building blocks of life. A complete, detailed understanding of Human DNA. Considered by many to be one of the absolute pinnacles of modern science.

And it was only after the Human Genome Project, that scientists could then develop those potions that could interact, and influence human DNA.

The modern Covid Vaccines would not be possible without the foundation of the Human Genome Project. Today’s Messenger Ribonucleic Acid, or mRNA is the basis for all of these current “vaccines.” And all based on first the understanding of DNA.

Block upon a block, modern science has built an understanding of first how the human genome works, and now how to manipulate and change that genome. So today’s Pharmakeia is entirely different and distinct from those drugs of the 1960s.

After all, the drugs of the 60s were able to alter “consciousness,” to give a “high.” Today’s “drugs,” or “vaccines” alter the genome itself.

The modern mRNA vaccines produce, not a temporary state, so much, as a permanent altering of one’s DNA.

In the game of pool, this would be a two-ball shot. First, you alter the DNA, so that it in turn rejects the intruding virus. The objective would be for the body to reject any further virus.

That, at least, would be the ideal solution. However, it is an open question whether this group of scientists has achieved that object.

(In fact, it is an open question of whether that is their objective at all. But I leave that question for another day.)

What we do know is that we’ve entered an entirely new world. A world in which many of our countrymen are participating in what has been described as the largest experiment in history.

An experiment in which literally billions have introduced this new form of Pharmakeia into their bodies.

The full ramifications of this mass inoculation are not yet known. But I do leave you with this warning, written long ago, that great nations can be brought down, by just this sort of action:
